Letrato mula sa UPD OVCAA

Inilabas ng University of the Philippines Diliman Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs ang Memorandum No. OVCAA-MTTP 21-029 na pinamagatang, “Guidelines on Affirming Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming (TGNC) Students’ Names, Pronouns, and Titles” noong ika-15 ng Marso 2021.

Sang-ayon sa Section 1 ng UP Anti-Sexual Harassment Code, ipinagtitibay ng palisiyang ito ang dignidad, respeto, pagkakapantay-pantay at pagpapanatiling ligtas na lulan ang UP Diliman Campus para sa lahat ng kasarian.  Konkretong hakbang din ito sa tunguhin ni Chancellor Fidel Nemenzo na magkaroon ng “inclusive, diverse and public service-oriented UP, and are in line with the UP Diliman vision of a modern, globally-engaged, inclusive, and nurturing educational and research institution that advances sustainable, ethical, innovation-driven, and people-centered national development in the best traditions of honor, excellence and public service.”
