The UP Diliman Gender Office (UP DGO)

The UP Diliman Gender Office  (UP DGO) is an office that facilitates all gender issues and concerns, and gender mainstreaming in the Campus. It started in 199 as an ad hoc Diliman Gender Committee under the University under the University of the Philippines Center for Women Studies (UCWS). It was created to respond to the gender-related needs of UP Diliman with the vision of creating a Gender Office in every UP Campus. It was launched in 2001 and became a separate unit in 2003 under the Office of the Chancellor. It has been tasked to conduct training, research, counseling, and advocacy work.
